I am a family researcher from Australia and believe that Michael Whitehall of Lewisham was my ggg grandfather. I would like this to see this image as a record of his burial. I have lots of information on his daughter, Jane, which I am happy to share with anyone who is interested in the Australian descendants of the family. Jane Whitehall came to Austrlaia as a ladies companion in 1842 but did not intend staying. The death of her employer caused a change in plans and she married William Bell. She and William became two of the pioneer settlers in Molong in NSW. I have been sharing information with the Molong Museum about them and we have now been able to locate their graves in the cemetery there. Jane had a sister, Sarah, who died on the voyage out to Australia, some years after Jane came out.
